MAY ARK DAY

ARK day for May was very exciting! Fifty participants enjoyed singing, news from The News Deck, stories by three child readers & Patricia Dossman, and games in the sanctuary before heading back to the fellowship hall.

Professor Beaver (Kelly Stanford), along with assistance of Beaver Boy (Austin Stanford), filled kids in on the life and job of the beaver. The kids also sang the beaver song, assisted by Katie Stanford.

Art projects included foam door hangers and the Carrier Pigeon Project (handmade cards for nursing home residents).

A highlight of the day was a close-up tour of Eunice’s brand new fire truck by FUMC’s own Jeremy Faulkner, City of Eunice Fire Fighter.

Topping the day off was a serving of delicious, grilled hot dogs by Master Griller Walter Herbert.

FUMC thanks everyone who volunteered to help in any way with this children’s ministry.
