The Blessing Room

Purpose:  Created to help the community in times of need.

Hours of operation:  On as-needed basis

Contacts:   Dolores Peterson, Sharline Durio, Sharon LeDoux, Carlis Young

Items needed:

-Towels                        -Dish Sets

-Pots and Pans             -Drinking Glass Sets

-Utensils                      -Men’s Casual Clothing

-Sheet Sets (for all size beds)

-Infants and Children Clothing

-Small Appliances such as coffee pots, microwave ovens, irons, toasters, vacuum cleaners, clocks, radios (all in working order)

-Mop/Broom Buckets (including mop, broom, cleaning sponges, all purpose cleaner)

The process is simple.  If you have items such as those listed above, bring them to church for The Blessing Room.  The only requirement is that items be in good condition -- not a “garage sale” drop-off.  The quick test when considering what to bring is this question: “If my house burned, what would I need?”

As important, if you know of individuals who need any of the items, get in touch with one of the people listed above.  It is our prayer that this room will become resource for people in need.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” Malachi 3:10
